Your Project is My Mission
Mission Handyman Services, LLC is owned and operated by Jeff Norsen, serving the Wayne, Ontario and Eastern Monroe Counties area. I am a committed husband and father, who takes great pride in the work that I do. Why the name, Mission Handyman? First, I am a combat veteran, having proudly served in Afghanistan as a Cavalry Scout in 2008-2009. I understand and adhere to a “Mission-First” mentality in the work that I do. That means I am never satisfied until the job is completed to my high standards. Secondly, and more importantly, I am an unashamed follower of Jesus Christ. I understand that I am a flawed human (sinful), and that the only hope is for me to be redeemed by the saving grace that God freely offers us when we accept Jesus as our Savior. As a response to this salvation, I strive to walk out this faith in my daily life as the cornerstone of everything I do. My own statement of faith is that of my church, and it can be found here. No project I have is more important than a person’s soul, so if you want to know more I am happy to talk with you.
Part of my mission is to give back generously, and as a business I am committed to giving away 10% of any profits received (in addition to my own personal tithing). Half of that is donated to a charity I have proudly served with since 2023, Eight Days of Hope. I encourage you to learn more about this organization and the life-changing mission they carry out, and consider volunteering yourself as well. The remaining 5% is set aside to donate to other missions or outreach based on situational needs as they arise.

Mission Handyman Services, LLC is veteran-owned and operated, registered and insured in New York. This level of protection is important for your peace of mind, and while this means I may not be the least expensive, I strive to be fair in pricing every job. This means I quote the job, not an hourly rate so if it takes me longer than expected, you don’t pay for overage.

What services do you offer?
I offer a broad range of general handyman services. I specialize in plumbing fixture installation/repairs, electrical fixture installation/replacement, minor drywall repair, heat tape inspections, general carpentry and trim/molding, flooring and tile work, yard and basement cleanups, including downed tree removal and other tractor work, and much more. What payments do you accept?
First, I do not receive payment until your project is completed. This means I will purchase any needed materials on your behalf, and list that cost in your estimate. I prefer Cash or Check ideally, as this helps reduce your cost. I use Quickbooks for invoicing, so if you prefer I can set up arrangements for electronic invoiced/in-person payments, which will have processing fees applied as follows:

Is this website built with AI?
No. Every word in this website or in my communication is set by me personally. Part of the reason I began this business is to hedge against AI in my professional career. I recognize the value AI can bring, but I want my customers' experience to be personal in a way that can only be delivered with a human touch.
What Insurance do you carry?
I carry a full business liability insurance policy that fully covers my work, my tools and equipment (including my tractor, trailer and vehicle). I will be happy to provide proof of insurance upon request.
